AXCEL® CarboFlax™ Acclaim Aero 500 Stabilizer

Designed for both Recurve and Compound bows, the Acclaim Aero 500 is the latest model of AXCEL®’s CarboFlax™ Acclaim series of stabilizers. It boasts a distinctive construction and finish that deliver exceptional stiffness and vibration reduction, all within a slim 0.500" diameter profile. The engineering behind these bars allows compound archers to utilize heavier weights while preserving a slimmer profile that reduces wind resistance, also benefiting recurve archers.

Why CarboFlax™ Technology?

Before designing their new stabilizer, the AXCEL® design team invested in high-quality vibration testing equipment and spent a year analyzing which stabilizers truly reduced vibration. They aimed to enhance carbon bar performance and found that industries like aerospace, cycling, automotive, and tennis were blending Flax into carbon layers. Flax not only reduced weight but also provided 3x the vibration dampening of glass and 20% more than carbon. Its natural vibration absorption improved performance, and it was also lighter, stronger, and eco-friendly—being plant-based and CO₂ negative.

Armed with a year of data, AXCEL® developed a Bio-Composite Hybrid Archery Stabilizer using natural Flax fibers and Ultra High Modulus Carbon. Through testing multiple wrapping patterns, they created one of the strongest, most effective stabilizers ever made.
