• Pull-Thru Mode: Set the release 5 lbs over your bow’s holding weight. While drawing, keep both the thumb and index tension levers fully depressed. At full draw, release lever pressure and engage back tension. Once you pull through to the set tension, the release fires cleanly.

• Relax Tension Mode: Set the release 5 lbs under your holding weight. Again, keep the levers depressed while drawing. At anchor, slowly ease pressure off the levers. As you relax into position, the release will activate—smooth, controlled, and shot-ready.

Red Draw Weight Adjustment Dial:  Inside the head of the X-Tension™ R/T is the Red Draw Weight Adjustment Dial, giving you full control over your firing point. To adjust, loosen the locking screw, access the dial, and rotate:

• Clockwise to increase poundage

• Counterclockwise to decrease poundage

For best results, calculate your bow’s firing point by dividing its draw weight by the let-off. For example, a 60 lb bow with 65% let-off has a holding weight of 21 lbs. Set your release to 26 lbs for Pull-Thru mode or 16 lbs for Relax Tension mode. Use a draw weight scale and release rope for accurate tuning.

Important: Make small adjustments—a little goes a long way. Once dialed in, secure the head and lightly tighten the locking screw. Do not overtighten, as this may damage the release.
