T.R.U. Ball® Release

The X-Tension R/T is a first-of-its-kind two-in-one wrist strap release, being both a Pull-Thru and Relax Tension release, only needing the draw weight of the release adjusted to swap between the two.

To Shoot as a Pull-Thru Style Release, begin by setting the X-Tension R/T 5lbs over your holding weight at full draw. As you draw, keep the thumb and index finger tension levers tightly depressed throughout. When at full draw, remove pressure from the thumb and index finger tension levers and use back tension to pull through the shot. When you reach five pounds of tension above your bow's holding weight, the release will fire!

For a Relax Tension Style Release, set the X-Tension R/T 5lbs under the holding weight of your bow at full draw. Tightly depress the thumb and index finger tension levers throughout the drawing of the bow. When you are anchored and aiming at the target, slowly relax pressure evenly on the thumb and index finger tension levers and the release will fire!

Tri-Star Hook System: All the speed of an open hook plus a magnet to automatically reset the hook after every shot equals a release with less downtime than the bow. The Tri-Star hook system enables T.R.U. Ball® to sell the fastest firing releases on the market.

Red Draw Weight Adjustment Dial: Housed within the head of the release is a Red Draw Weight Adjustment Dial. Loosen a locking screw on the body of the release to gain access to the dial, then rotate clockwise to increase the poundage of the release and rotate counterclockwise to decrease the poundage. For best results, we recommend verifying the draw weight of your bow divided by the let-off of the cams. For instance, if your bow is set at 60lbs and your let-off is 65%, your firing point is 21lbs. You can then use a draw weight indicator and pull against a piece of release rope to set your X-Tension R/T to 26lbs if you want to use the Pull Through method or to 16lbs if you want to use the Relax Tension method of activation. It is advised that you make minor adjustments, a little goes a long way. When you have competed your minor adjustments, return the head of the release to its proper place and tighten the lock. Do not overtighten the locking screw, as this will damage the release.

Globo-swivel Connector: Maximum mobility that never sacrifices security. T.R.U. Ball's® Globo-Swivel connector embodies this by placing a solid steel round connector into a high-quality housing on the wrist strap. It can be adjusted to various finger lengths at increments of 3/16" from one hole to the next, and then it can be secured with two screws so that dependability in your settings is never a question.

Wrist strap T-Connection: A solid aluminum connection between wrist strap and release, acting as the housing for the Cinch connector. The T-connector has been designed to fold smoothly like a hinge, allowing the release to be easily tucked into a sleeve when not in use and smoothly redeployed when needed.

Black Leather Buckle Strap: Sturdy top grain leather, high quality metal hardware, and 8 sizing holes to ensure the same fit every time.
